First report from the L.A. Roadster Show
I had a great time at the roadster show. I managed to make it out to the car show at the Pomona Fairplex on Saturday. For some reason I still think of the Pomona fairgrounds as the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds.
I saw lots of nice cares and talked with many friendly folks. The wealth of knowledge at classic and antique car shows is truly phenomenal.
Like the information from a show attendant who told me about the airplane engine that is used in thus car.
The show had a whole lot of pre 1940 cars.

There were some new cars too, well newer that the 1930s and before.
I spent a good amount of time in building 4 talking with venders and they had some very interesting insight too. Being a small business owner I am always interested in the businesses that support and are supported by niche industries.
There were quite a few artists with a variety styles. One art form that was well represented was pin striping. I was lucky enough to walk by just as this attractive artist finished her latest creation.
When I got out of building 4 I was greeted by more great cars and then headed to the swap meet. But time went be so quickly that by the time I reached the swap meet my time was up. The car show had officially closed. It looks like this show will take me at least two days if I want to see everything.
If I can make time I will try to get back for a shorter period of time on Sunday.
Wish all a wonderful Fathers Day
