Roadster Show Pomona 2011
The roadster show was great. I am glad I went back on Sunday for a second day of wonderful cars and interesting people.
One of the most impressive cars I saw on Sunday, that I did not see the day before, was a grand 1936 Beerster Great American Race Car.
I also really enjoyed talking with St. James Davis the owner of a car I saw on Saturday. He has a fascinating story. It turns out that St. James is the owner of Moe the chimpanzee and he has a book about the adventures and misadventure of being dad to a non human primate.
I pretty much missed the swap meet by the time I got by all the cars and talking with people most of the swap meet venders had packed and were leaving.
Almost forgot to mention our friends from Performance Plus had a great display but they were close to the swap meet so it was late by the time I had a chance to stop by to say, Hi.

All in all this was a very good car show. I would recommend the roadster show as a very nice family outing for father’s day.
See you at the next car show
